canon updates

This is where you come to request a canon update for your character.

How do you do that?

First, you fill out the following form and paste it into a comment here.
Character: Your character's name!
Journal: Her journal.
Canon: What she's from.
Current Canon Point: When she's from--right now.
Desired Canon Point: When you want her to be from when you finish the update.
Changes: What sort of changes does your character go through during this time, if any?

Then, you wait for a mod to respond. Our response will be one of the following:

1. APPROVED. You're good to go. Take your character out of the Gardens for a little while, then bring her back updated!
2. APPLICATION REQUESTED. This is what you'll get if your canon update involves significant change to your character. You'll have to fill out a new mini-application, as follows.

Personality: What's their personality like now? This does not have to be as long as the personality in their original application, unless you want it to be.
Sample: A new first-person sample, following the same rules as given in the applications page.

A mod will either accept or reject your new update.

Changes: Not too many, since she doesn't appear as much in season 2 as she did back in the first season. Suruga does lets her hair grow longer and spends a lot more time naked or wearing very little in the way of clothing, like so. She pretty much stays every bit a deviant and a pervert as before.

Your canon update has been approved. Take your character out of the Gardens for a little while, then bring her back updated!

Character: Gal Cecil

Desired Canon Point: Post Tower of Rem
Changes: The party has to cope with the fact that their enemies are all still alive and the threat to the world hasn't vanished like they thought. On top of that, the poisonous miasma has returned, and they have to find a way to neutralize it. Both Asch and her replica nearly die in the process, after Gal and the others have to decide between the life of their friend or the whole world.

On a personal level, Gal hasn't changed much, but she's been thrown from a time of relative peace into battle again, and might lose someone she cares about. She's a little more serious and on-edge because of it.

Is it possible for me to have her disappearance be retroactive since I was on hiatus? If not that's fine.

Character: Akiha Tohno

Desired Canon Point: End of Melty Blood
Changes: Melty Blood occurs one year after Tsukihime, so aside from being older and more mature, Akiha has had time to develop herself as the Head of the Tohno Family and be less abrasive about it. She's come to accept herself as a half-demon in part because of meeting Sion Eltnam Atlasia (the heroine of Melty Blood) who also has similar circumstances in needing to suppress and control a killer side. Akiha doesn't shut people out as much, even placing someone who could be troublesome to her family under her protection.

Current Canon Point: End of Chapter 12
Desired Canon Point: After teleporting away in Chapter 15
Changes: Kazumi finds out that she's a clone of Kazusa Michiru made from magic and the flesh of witches, in fact the 13th such clone. Because of that, one of her dear friends who she always trusted tried to kill her using the other clones; not only was Kazumi forced to kill the other clones, but when Satomi became a witch, Kazumi ended up killing her as well. Confused, scared, traumatized that one of her close friends would turn on her like this, and that they all lied to her, with no idea who she is anymore or what she is anymore, she runs from her shocked friends who can no longer answer her. At this point, she's very confused, very shaken-up and doesn't know what to believe anymore.

Character: Jessica Boyette

Desired Canon Point: After her first midterms of Freshman year at college
Changes: Very little, beyond basic life situation. This is mostly to give her an emotional break.

This is not *exactly* a canon update, however, it will be involving a big change to Zinc, so this seemed like the closest place to put the request.

Character: Zinc

Current Canon Point: Dead and 'living' with Barbet for two years.
Desired Canon Point: Made fully human and losing all memory of Barbet.
Changes: She will mainly be reverting back to her human personality, which I linked to when I first applied her. She will not completely forget being dead, nor forget anything about having been in the Gardens for two years, so there will be a dissonance and a sense of identity fracture.

I highly expect this needs an application request, and would be doing one for my own reference anyway. Just wanted to get the ball rolling by making the request and will be back with the application once finals are done. I'll also be switching from her dead!Zinc account to her living!Zinc account (
